These exclusive, patented tools are essential for anyone who frequently installs O-Rings or rod seals. These seals often must be inserted in small, closed diameter gland openings or deeply set rod grooves. This is the perfectly designed tool for these situations.
The rod seal installation tool allows the seal to be held securely while reducing the overall outer diameter by bending it. Once the seal's untwisted bottom portion is in the groove, the tool is released and removed. Snapping the remaining part of the seal into the groove completes the installation.
This tool comes in three different sizes:
The IT-100 for 1" to 1.5" shafts
The IT-150 for 1.5" to 2.0" shafts
The IT-200 for 2"+ sized shafts.
