Nitrile is a copolymer of acrylonitrile and butadiene, and an excellent multi-purpose compound. It performs exceptionally in most environments and is generally resistant to fuels, water, oils and numerous other fluids. Compared to other elastomers, nitrile has exceptional wear resistance and mechanical properties.
